Passacaglie is a two-movement work for alto saxophone and piano, composed between 2022 and 2023 for Guido Bäumer and Aladár Rácz and dedicated to them. They premiered the piece in Egilsstaðir on May 20, 2023. The work is supported by Tónskáldasjóður RÚV og STEFs

The work does not feature the repeated bass lines typically expected in a traditional passacaglia. However, the title loosely and obliquely refers to the recurring use of two tones, G and A. These tones are repeated continuously, sometimes as pedal points and at other times serving to glue one chord to another, without necessarily functioning as true pedal points
