The composer writes: "In Seventh Heaven won the competition for an orchestral composition to be performed at the opening ceremony of Harpa, the new concert hall in Reykjavík. It was premiered there on May 13, 2011 by the Iceland Symphony Orchestra conducted by Petri Sakari."
