This work was discovered in a folder with other works by the composer. It is not known exactly when it was copmposed. The premiere was given 27 January 2018 by the Reykjavík Chamber Orchestra and the Elblag Chamber Orchestra from Poland in the Norðurljós Hall at Harpa Concert Halls, Reykjavík, Iceland, conducted by Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason.
