Þórhallur Hróðmarsson (Thorhallur Hrodmarsson) was born at Kiljarholti in Mýrar in Austur-Skaftafellssýsla, 15. september 1942. He is son of Ingunn Bjarnadóttir, composer, and Hróðmar Sigurðsson, teacher. He lives now in Hveragerði. Þórhallur is a retired teacher from the Icelandic Horticultural College.
