Christmas songs - Jólalag Ríkisútvarpsins

In 1987, RÚV, the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service, began the tradition of commissioning an Icelandic composer to write a new Christmas song for each Christmas, which was then premiered on Rás 1 under the title "Jólalag Ríkisútvarpsins".
