Ég sá bláa liti vatnsins, fjallanna og himinsins dökkna þar til þeir urðu eitt og hurfu út
í nóttina. Uns þeir lifnuðu á ný eins og fyrir kraftaverk, urðu vatn, fjöll og himininn yfir.
Veröldin öll var eins og hvítvoðungur í fangi mér.

The composer writes: This work was commissioned and premiered by Víkingur Heiðar Ólafsson, with support from the Icelandic Radio Composres' Fund.

"I saw the blue of the lake, the mountains and sky darken until they became one with the night until they came back to life again, like a miracle;
the lake, the mountains and the sky overhead reappeared. The world was like a new-born babe in my arms."
