Óperudagar (Opera Days) is a festival and forum for classical singers and their colleagues who want to unite and collaborate to promote the opera, singing and musical theatre scene in Iceland.
The goal of the festival is to host quality and diverse events in traditional and unusual locations; promote innovation and experimentation, support the careers of singers and their colleagues; encourage national and international cooperation and welcome new and old audiences. Focus is placed on collaboration, cooperation and community. Óperudagar is not only an opera festival but a celebration of all branches of classical singing, as classical singers sing all kinds of music.
