Nordic Music Days is a festival presenting Nordic - and Scottish in 2024 - contemporary music and sound. The next edition of Nordic Music Days takes place in Glasgow from 30 October to 3 November 2024.
The 2024 festival will explore societal, cultural and linguistic connections between Scotland and the Nordic region, with the ambition to build long-lasting, sustainable partnerships between musical organisations, communities and creative individuals.
Nordic Music Days will be collaborating with organisations and presenters around Scotland during the year as the whole country takes part in the conversation. In the lead up to the festival dates, sound festival’s annual adventures in new music take place in Aberdeen from 23 to 27 October, and the University of Glasgow will host a conference on the role and value of experimentation in new music on 29 and 30 October.
