Aussaat is a collaborative work by composer Páll Ragnar Pálsson and visual artist Andreas Greiner for the latter's exhibition "Naturkunden" in Kunstverein Heilbrönn, 2018. The work is also inspired by the poem Sterne im Marz" by Ingeborg Bachmann (1926-73)

The composer writes: 'A self-playing piano performs alongside a video projection. It should be noted that the composer driects that the soprano and violin are 'non obbligato'. Therefore the work can be performed as a solo piano work, piano & soprano or all three players together.'
